Grape Varieties
Our vines host a variety of grapes including some of the most desired from around the globe. Of those already in production are Cayuga White, Petit Manseng, Chardonel, Cab Franc, Chambourcin, Gruner Veltliner, Rkatsiteli and Merlot. Other experimental varieties are being tested as well.
The Grove
Rivah Vineyards at the Grove sits on 125 scenic acres of farm, woods, and riverfront. Built in 1832, the Grove is the ancestral home of the present owner. The property now is in conservation to preserve its history and charm.
Winery
Rivah Vineyards at the Grove is one of the newest wineries and vineyards on the Northern Neck. Winter hours are 12 to 4 Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
